BonJourney Headlines the Fort - Rocks Thousands!!
The crowds packed into the tents at the Fort Frances Annual Bass Tournament this weekend in Fort Frances. Following a night of Trooper, BonJourney rocked the crowds for over 2 hours with their brand of Journey and Bon Jovi well into the wee hours of the night. The star of the show was certainly the fans - as they reached high into the air most of the night, screaming and singing along with their favorite Journey and Bon Jovi hits - Roman Picco, keyboardist with the band - entertained the crowds with a stunning keyboard solo followed by guitarist Les Birta's amazingly close rendition of every single note played on such great albums as Evolution, Greatest Hits, Slippery when Wet and more. In all, over 3,000 fans attended during the night and the band played to two encores! Lead singer Al Langlade was right on the money - pulling off one song after another to perfection and the crowds absolutely appreciated every note! Drummer Kevin Palmer did not play a solo as there was no gas in the tank at the end of the night...again..
